OnlyFans and AI chat: what the documents say
What OnlyFans' current Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy and fan–creator contract say about AI-written chats, and what changed since 2024.
We read the documents OnlyFans publishes today: the Terms of Service (last updated August 2024), the Acceptable Use Policy (last updated September 2025) and the Contract between Fan and Creator.
- None of them contains a rule against AI-written chats. In July 2024, Reuters quoted older terms saying “You cannot use an AI chatbot to write chats or direct messages.” That sentence isn’t in the versions published today.
- The Contract between Fan and Creator says: “The Fan acknowledges that third parties may assist Creators in operating their accounts and in Creator Interactions.”
- The Terms of Service say that when someone else helps a creator operate her account, “this does not affect your legal responsibility.”
- AI-generated content has to be clearly labeled, for example with #ai or #AIGenerated.
- The Acceptable Use Policy bans in-person meetings, misleading information and spam, among other things.
Rules change, and help-center guidance can differ from the legal documents. Read the current versions before you rely on any of this.
What this means for an agency
The documents published today don’t contain a rule against AI-written chats, but they keep the creator responsible for what’s sent from her account, whoever writes it. Keep a log of every message, label AI-generated content, and reread the documents when they change. Laws can apply on top of platform rules: see bot disclosure laws.
